Chess is a popular board game and mind sport with centuries of history and literature. It can be learnt in a few minutes and is challenging and fun. Chess is a good tool to practice logical and visual abilities and socialise with peers. In this session, parents/carers and their children will be taught the rules of chess and will be able to practice and enjoy the game with each other! For any age and no previous knowledge required. The tutor, Francesco, works as chess coach and board games lecturer in London. He strongly believes in the educational value of games for human beings of any age. He delivers seminars and classes about abstract strategy games and runs tournaments and events in the field. PLEASE NOTE: THIS SESSION IS FOR PARENTS/CARERS AND THEIR CHILDREN.
