Family Board Game Fun!Sat 21 Mar 2026, 10:00 - 13:00
For parents/carers and their children aged 7-99 to learn and have fun together. Board games have been played by humanity for centuries and they are still an important part of the culture of many countries. They are also great tools to improve logical, visual and social skills while spending some time off-screen! On this course, the families can learn how to play a few different traditional and modern board games for two players which are very simple to learn, but at the same time so deep that take a life to master! A variety of strategy board games for 2 players will be available for the families to play. There will be a mix of traditional (Gomoku, Oware, Hnefatafl, Checkers, Go) and modern games (Hive, Quoridor, Abalone, Othello, Tatsu) that anyone can learn. Families can also bring their own games if they like and can play them together with other participants. Parents must remain with their children at all times.
